Galvanizing refers to the surface treatment technology that coats a layer of zinc on the surface of metal, alloy or other materials to play the role of beauty and rust prevention. More applications are mainly hot-dip galvanizing and cold galvanizing (electro-galvanizing).
The difference between hot-dip galvanizing and cold galvanizing (electro-galvanizing)
1. The principle is different
Hot-dip galvanizing: The principle is to immerse the steel device in molten zinc to obtain a metal coating.
Interpretation of various galvanizing: hot-dip galvanizing, cold galvanizing, white galvanizing, blue galvanizing, color galvanizing, black galvanizing
hot dip galvanized
Cold galvanizing: The principle is to put the processed steel parts into a solution of zinc salt after degreasing and pickling. After connecting the electrolysis equipment, a layer of zinc is deposited on the steel parts using the electrochemical principle.
2. Different equipment required
Hot dip galvanizing: pickling equipment, bottom annealing furnace or bell annealing furnace.
Cold galvanizing: electrolytic equipment.
